Lorri Hahn
Lorri has been the Communications Coordinator for the Guilford Public Schools for the past seven years. She serves as co-chair for DAY’s Communications Committee with Bo Huhn. Prior to her work in Guilford, she worked in the Midwest managing a design and marketing company whose clients included educational institutions and several not-for-profit organizations. Lorri and her husband, Jeff, have lived in Guilford for 17 years and raised two sons here. She has a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Rhode Island.

Lyne spent the first four years of her career in management, returned to the mental health field in 1986 to train at the Connecticut Mental Health Center, and started community work in 1987 managing psychiatric residential programs for the chronically mentally ill. She acquired extensive experience over the next 20 years with mental health, developmental disabilities, subtance abuse prevention, alternatives to hospitalizations (respite care), and jail diversion. In 2007 she transferred this experience to working with children and families. As Director of Guilford Youth & Family Services, she combines her experience with her educational background to provide both clinical services and prevention programs.

Karolin began her social work career as a Clinician at the Stonington Institute working with clients seeking treatment for substance abuse. She continued this clinical work at the Rushford Center, Inc. where she provided individual, family and group counseling to clients seeking substance abuse and mental health treatment. In 2006 she began working at Guilford Youth & Family Services as a part-time Clinician providing psychotherapy to youth up to age 18. She had the unique opportunity to then combine her interests in substance abuse and mental health counseling with youth by taking on the role of the Student Assistance Counselor at Guilford High School and Adams Middle School. In this position she provided supportive counseling, education and resources to youth regarding substance abuse issues. She is currently the Program Director of Guilford Youth & Family Services where she provides clinical services to youth as well as prevention based programs to the community.
